Dr. Eric Setzer, DVM
Dr. Eric Setzer graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 and has been in private practice ever since. He has been the owner and operator of Lesslie Animal Hospital since 1997. Dr. Setzer enjoys attending college football games (Go Cocks!), boating, and spending time with his wonderful wife and four children. Dr. Setzer truly has a passion for animals and thoroughly enjoys being in constant contact with animals of every kind.
Lori Setzer, Office Manager
Lori Setzer is the wife of Dr. Setzer and the mother of four children. She enjoy fitness activities, spending time with her family, friends, and pets. In her free time, she enjoy spending time on the lake. She has two three legged pets, a cat and dog.
Dr. Jonathan Blanton, Associate DVM
Dr. Jonathan Blanton joined our team as a part-time associate in May 2019. A native of Rock Hill, he graduated from Northwestern High School in 1998 before attending Clemson University. He graduated from Clemson in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and then moved to the island of St. Kitt’s to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Blanton has always enjoyed animals, having many dogs, cats, birds, a rabbit, ferret, and various other pets throughout life. He has a particular fondness for birds, receiving his first official pet, Sonny, a Latino cockatiel for his 8th birthday.

Elaine Herrara, Receptionist
Elaine loves all animals, but her favorite breeds would have to be Staffordshire terriers and bully breeds. She also has a huge heart for reptiles and arachnids. Being from Miami, Elaine prefers tropical places and absolutely loves spending time at the beach! Elaine started working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2018.

Aisha Voges, Veterinary Assistant
Aisha has been in the animal care field for over 3 years. She lives in York, SC with her fiancé and two dogs Oli and Cecile. Aisha has been fostering dogs since 2015. She loves to travel and has citizenship in 4 countries. Aisha is a certified scuba diver, who has dived in Cuba, Florida Keys and Clemson. Aisha joined our team in August of 2020.
Diana Chap. Veterinary Assistant
Diana graduated from Wingate University with a biology degree and loves all animals! She lives at home in Indian Land, SC with her two dogs Gabby and Chloe. Diana joined our team in June of 2020 following an internship at a zoo. Some of her passions include dancing, eating, and taking care of your pets!
Stephanie Shirley, Veterinary Assistant
Stephanie began working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2019. She is a Florida native and is married to her wonderful, loving husband, Michael. Stephanie currently works at Tiger World as well! Some of her hobbies include sewing, surfing, and painting!
Kelly Heinig, Kennel Staff & Receptionist
Kelly began working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in September of 2020. She has a chihuahua named PIP. She enjoys photography and working with photo editing software. She also enjoys cosplay and Anime. In the future, she would like to become a veterinary assistant.
Jordan Peek, Kennel Supervisor & Veterinary Assistant
Jordan was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC. His interest in the animal field is rooted in his first visit to Sea World in 2009. He took the Vet Tech class at the Applied Technology Center (ATC) in 2018. He is currently responsible for boarding and occasionally doing tech work. At home he has two dogs, Abby and Daisy, and a Ragdoll cat, Gracie. Jordan enjoys visiting theme parks and hanging out with his pets. He looks forward to caring for your pets. Jordan began working with Lesslie Animal Hospital in May of 2018.
Jon Bond, Kennel Staff
Jon is a student at Rock Hill High School. He joined our team in April of 2020. He enjoys spending his time and the gym and hanging out with friends at the skatepark. In the future, Jon would like to became a veterinarian.
Marilee Martin, Groomer
Marilee got her start in pet grooming when she was only 15 years old and has shown and bred AKC Irish Setters for over 30 years! Being well accomplished in both pet and show grooming (including scissoring), she owned, operated, and taught at “Charlotte Academy of Pet Grooming” from 1993-2005. Marilee began working with Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2015.
